Iaith a Gwaith

While learning languages in a classroom can be valuable, in Beuno Sant Uwch Gwyrfai we believe that the only way to fully appreciate Welsh language culture is by immersive learning in a Welsh-speaking context.

We have piloted ‘Iaith a Gwaith’ placements offering opportunities for immersive language learning alongside environmental work and gardening.  We are hoping to extend these opportunities to other work and ministry roles for those who are up for the challenge of improving their language skills while working on projects that contribute to the flourishing of our local communities.
